Over the weekends
I didn't realize my previous blog entry ended with a line that says:
- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone -
It's the default line, btw. I like BlogPress, it's a cool n simple blogging app. And I <3 my phone of course. But... That just seems a little too cheesy, so from now on, I'm gonna delete that line :) And probably replace it with something else a little more clever.
That said, I am now feeling horribly horrible because hubby is going to Australia for his reservist in just 4 days! And he will be there for almost 3 weeks. Mikhail and I will miss you, daddy chubs :(
I WANT THESE 3 WEEKS TO PASS BY IN A FLASH!
:(
Yesterday we celebrated Mikhail's birthday in advance, right here at home with just a couple of VIP guests. My son is now 3! He's a really big boy already, and knows soooo many things. He will start school very soon (I don't believe in sending kids to school too early, anything before 3 years old just doesn't work for me). Sometimes I feel young and can't believe I'm already a mom of a 3 yr old. My little hero is growing up so well :) Pictures of the birthday celebration can be found in my Facebook.
Last night, hubs and I went out for late night supper while Mikhail was sleeping. We went to this nice little shop near Kandahar St and had yummy chicken chop, and my first ever shisha experience. Hubs wanted something a little 'strong', so we tried the double apple mint flavour. For someone who used to smoke Marlboros, I thought shisha smoking was kinda lame. But actually it was NICE! I was puffing away for almost 2 hours I think, and it made me a little high, but I suspect it's from the carbon monoxide. And, some people may not be aware of this, but smoking shishas have the same (if not worse) ill effects as smoking cigarettes. So it's not something I'll do regularly, coz i'm very concerned about my health. But now I know what shishas taste like and they're really not that bad at all.
Hubby is pestering me to watch a DVD with him, so I'm gonna do just that, and go shopping for groceries in a while so I can cook up something nice for dinner(I'm not too fond of my maid's cooking). And go for a jog after that, need to get in better shape! Hope everyone's having a good lazy Sunday like I am.
