The things in life
The lack of blog updates is due to these reasons:-
1. I have been too busy. Everytime I get the chance to wake my laptop from hibernation, Mikhail will be asking me to play his fave kiddo videos on YouTube (yes, these days even little kids watch videos on YouTube). He likes Barney, Wheels on the Bus, Old Macdonald, and sometimes Peterpan's Mimpi Yang Sempurna gets his head bobbing too.
2. When i DO get the chance to type http://www.blogger.com/, I find myself unable to login and the system gives me an error and shuts down the browser immediately. Multiple attempts don't help. I've figured out an alternative way to login, though, which is to go to someone's Blogger blog, login to post a comment, and then visit my own blog in the same browser and click on New Post at the top. Taddah! I'm logged in. Whoever knows what's going on with these login issues(not only Blogger but a few other sites too), pls pls enlighten me on how to resolve it. Thank you.
3. I don't have Internet access in the office, yet. So when I'm free during lunchtime I can't post anything on blogger. I can't go to Yahoo! and I can't check news online. Basically I'm cut off from the rest of the world outside my office. To the person who's supposed to give me my Internet access, pls do give me the access soon. Thank you.
I have come to a point in my life where I've realised that every little thing means a lot - your child's laughter, your mother's voice, your lover's kiss, your little toe - everything is so beautiful and wonderful gifts from God. I don't usually talk about God and spiritual stuff but yeah I am grateful and thankful for the things I have in life.
Money versus Peace? I choose the latter. Peace of mind, peace of heart. I am happy with my new job, and I havent felt this way in a long time. To actually NOT drag my feet to work. To actually like what I do. Unbelievable. How many people out there like their job/career?
I also like my newly re-rebonded hair. Yes I've straight hair since birth, but when it's rebonded, it's super pin straight - I don't need to comb it and it still looks neat and perfect. So even though some people say curls are in, I still believe straight hair suits me better, which is why I don't mind spending a bit on my hair every year to keep it looking nice. I opt for every year, since every 3-6mths is just too tedious - for my hair length and type, I have to sit at the salon for a minimum of 6 hours everytime. Crazy.
Gas, gas, gas. That's what's been bothering me for the past couple of days - a very bloated stomach, burping every now and then, and terrible pains in my chest. For someone who was cleared of any serious heart-related problems, I almost thought I was suffering from some kind of heart attack, but the doctor said it was gas. I eat on time everyday, althought there were periods of hunger which were left ignored so I guess yeah, gas it is. It's AWFULLY painful and uncomfortable. I hope the medicines I'm taking will help because gas truly sucks!(people around me should be thankful that I don't pass wind often, hah).
I'm so proud of my little prince! At 1 year 10 months old, he can speak pretty well, knows and recognizes all the letters of the alphabet and what each letter stands for, and is now attempting to read simple words. He knows numbers too, so I wonder when'll be a good time for me to start teaching him math(addition and subtraction)? He learns fast and remembers well, so I really hope to get him into a good school once the time comes. The one thing I'm quite sad about is that as a full-time working mom, I only get to spend time with him and teach him on my off days, which are usually very packed too. I guess at the moment that can't be helped, but I'm happy to have a family and they are the people I live for. Like a fellow friend's words on her website, "savour every minute of life...". Yes, we all should.
*Note: This entry took many days to complete and is written in small parts everytime, so I guess it may be a bit incoherent, but oh well :)*
