one of those things
Let's take a moment to forget about the tremors we felt here(since everyone is still talking about it) to reflect on the *real* thing which happened this afternoon. The earthquake in Sumatra which reportedly took away 70 lives. Just saw on the Indonesian news, that one of those lives happen to be a newborn baby, born just a few hours before the tragedy happened right at the hospital. Before his/her mother could probably have the chance to hold, kiss or breastfeed the innocent baby. A few hours old, my dear friends.
There are many questions in this life that we would like answered, that's for sure. And people say we shouldn't ask, for we probably shouldn't know. But if, at this very moment, right at this VERY instant, IF I were to be given a chance to ask God one question, it would be this - Why?
But as usual, it will remain as one of those things that will probably never be answered.
My condolences go to the families & friends of the victims. So far, I do not personally know any of them. Let's hope & pray this will never happen to us and our loved ones.
