Yesterday my friends and I were talking about how sometimes our busy lives prevent us from having a healthy sex life. Think about it - you & your partner work hard all day, and by the time you reach home, you hardly have any more energy to jump onto each other, even for a quick romp in the sack. It's no wonder Singaporeans rank very low on the Durex survey for 'sex frequency'. So maybe this lil list here might give you something to work on ;) (yes I am bored, but you'll probably thank me for this later...haha)
~!*Sex For The Tired Part 1 *!~
(*) Sex-text.
We've all heard this before, right? Sending sexy text messages during the day helps prepare your partner(and yourself, of course) for what's coming up later in the evening. But don't start with 'I'm wanna **** your ****'. Instead, initiate with something simple (yet encouraging) like 'I'm wearing a really thin bra today, and it's cold in the office...wish I could have something warm covering them. R your hands warm?'... You get the idea. Save the **** for the later part. Besides text messaging, you can also call him/her or send e-mails.
(*) Sleep well.
Make sure you have enough sleep the night before. Yes, impromptu, unplanned sessions are always exciting, but sometimes you still need to plan for the unplanned(think condoms & towels by the bed). If you feel fresh & not sleep-deprived, you will feel more energetic to do just about anything, and that includes sex.
(*) Music helps.
If you & your partner always do it while having some music on, listen to those songs. It may help you remember those wonderful moments and get you in the mood. Don't overdo it, though...you don't wanna end up DIY-ing ;)
(*) Aphrodisiacs.
We all know this - chocolates are yummy. Really yummy. So go have some chocolates, and while you're savouring those sweet, sticky bits, imagine what you would do if those chocolates come in different forms, and on your partner's body. And if you suddenly crave for chocolates, that's a good start.
(*) The power of the nose.
If you hang around your partner a lot during the day, wear his/her favorite scent on you. It can help get their hormones raging. Or if you're far away, try spraying some of your partner's scent on your own clothes(yes, clothes only...don't spray on your skin, though, cuz it's meant to smell like you've just hugged that person, and not like you bathed in their perfume).
(*) The power of imagination.
Have your partner's picture handy, and every now & then just look at their picture and imagine them stripping or better still, naked. If you have your partner's naked picture, it's even better - but I wouldn't recommend this cuz you might lose it and your partner's picture might end up on some website instead(or worse, your friends' emails!). And while you're doing some imagining, call/text your partner by letting him/her know.
(*) KISS
Don't forget to kiss(how could you?). It could just be a peck on the cheek or a graze on the lips or a nuzzle on the neck, but a kiss is still a kiss. Kiss your partner as much as possible. It makes you feel good and the more you kiss, the more you wanna kiss, and the more you wanna kiss, the more you wanna.
(*) Location, location.
It may be too late after work to book a hotel room or travel to the other end of the city to a friend's empty house, but you can still have a change in location right at home. If you usually do it in the bedroom, try the bathroom. If you normally do it on the bed, try the floor. Try to have a session right after reaching home, to prevent getting lazy from watching tv or worse still, dozing off in front of the tv. If you're both too tired, lie down and have a talk. Talk about your day, talk about anything. But keep close and keep eye & body contact. Try bumping against your partner's bumps, and make sure he/she knows you did it deliberately.
