Universal Beauties?

Last year, I wrote about what I think about the Miss Singapore Universe pageants. (available in June's archives)

This year, I will not write much about it, because most of us know what the contestants(and winner) look like anyway. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and since I believe it is every MSU winner's dream to be a Miss Universe winner, I've decided to compare 2 simple pictures. This year's MSU 2006 winner, and last year's Miss Universe 2005 winner.




The picture on the left is Carol Cheong, MSU 2006 winner. The picture on the right is Natalie Glebova, Miss Universe 2005 winner. Obviously.


So, what do you think are the chances of this year's MSU 2006 of making it to the top 10 of Miss Universe 2006? Let's not even talk about her winning the Miss Universe title ok, and be a bit more lenient, since we haven't seen what the other countries' contestants look like (hint: you can visit the Miss USA 2006 website to catch a glimpse of their girls). 10% chance? 5% chance? 0%?

I'd say just wait for the Miss Universe International pageant and see for ourselves.

But I'm sure, we already have a very clear picture. Like the pictures above.
