last day of my so-called vacation
Kay, an old friend of mine, is still not over the fact that the girl he used to call 'Rapunzel' now has shorter hair. He asked me just yesterday how it feels to have my butt-length hair chopped off so short. I told him my head feels lighter, but I do miss tossing my silky hair behind my shoulders everytime. He's asking me to grow my hair longer again, because it looked 'darn good' (in his words) long. Well, I guess we'll see about that...hairgrowing is definitely not something on my priority list at the moment. The pics below do not show the shocking difference at all, but at least you can see that it's much shorter now. And yes, I've adopted my cleopatra-across-the-forehead bangs again after so long.

I like crumbs!
But not too much. Went to Long John's recently(one of my fave fast food outlet, btw) and ordered Combo 2. The big piece is the fish, the small piece is the half-eaten chicken, the fries are not in the pic cuz I've eaten them first, and on the right, covering half of the plate, is the crumbs. Yes, they gave me that much crumbs, little crumby bits were dropping from my plate as I carried it to my table. I like crumbs, but that was the first time they gave me so much crumbs, it looked like part of the menu.

Gum vs Ciggies
I used to wonder why chewing gum is banned in Singapore, and not cigarrettes.
Why I think chewing gum is bad:
- Irresponsible people tend to stick chewed gum everywhere. On bus seats, on the ground, on hand rails, etc.
- Unlucky people tend to swallow them and risk getting choked
Why I think cigarrettes are bad:
- Contains harmful chemicals(we all know about that, from the numerous 'smoking is bad' logos, campaigns, etc) that can cause harmful illnesses(yes we do know about that)
- Air pollution
I guess the issue here is not which is more harmful to us, but to the country. Cigarrette butts are easily cleaned away, unlike gum. Besides, the cigarrette industry brings in more money than chewing gum. Or so I think. What do you think?

Yes, just writing random stuff. Blah.
