new, new skin
So there goes my dark, freaky, bloody blog skin and here comes the pink again. This skin was a pain to design. I want something not dark and morose like the previous one. At the same time, I don't want it to look like someone else's blog, if you know what I mean. It should still scream me. So no blood, no sad connotations...unless you consider that quote at the top of the page a sad one, but there are many ways to look at it, right? I don't wanna be accused of trying to lure you into depression or to be a sadist. So... *puts on chirpy, schoolteacher voice* Boys and girls, this is a typical love quote. Though many love quotes contain some form of sadness in them, in that sadness we find peace. In that peace we find luuuurrrrve.
Eww.
Ok, back to the blog skin topic. Photoshop users will definitely notice that this skin is designed using Photoshop and the most basic and common brushes pre-installed(especially the good ol' stars, I don't know what got into me - they're everywhere!). But you think you can copy and reproduce the product of my artistic talent? Every little stroke, dot & pixel exactly like it is? Go ahead and try =) By the way, that love quote is mine. Don't steal it.
Blog surfers will also notice that I used one of the most common color schemes around - pink & black. That's the whole idea, I want it to be simple & common-looking(I hope). And I also can't help the fact that pink & black are my favorite colors. Nice, simple & sweet. That's why I said it was a pain to design. Argh.
Enough of talking about the design. To me it's so sweet that I could almost see the ants running towards my monitor screen, sniffing its sweet, sugary vapors...nah, not really.
