i'd like to believe that time is an illusion...
...that everything which happens has already been predetermined and that the concept of time is introduced to give each event a meaning of its own. Imagine a movie dvd and you're watching it for the first time. You get absorbed in the story and you anticipate what's about to happen in the next scene. That's how life is. It's already been produced but in order for you to know what's in store, you have to watch it and that takes time. No matter which dvd player you play it on, no matter what tv you use for viewing it, the content of the dvd remains the same. Even if you decide not to watch it at all, that dvd is still what it is. Each person's fate(or destiny) is already compiled into a dvd. Time is given to run these dvds and you get to experience the sequence of events. Of course, if you don't believe in fate, that's a different story. Have you ever wondered, how much of free will is fated, and how much of fate is actually born from free will? What do you believe in?
On this same day next week, I will be officially married to the man whom I've known for the past 6 years or so. 6 years. That's a concept of time. Where's the rewind/fast forward button?
