holes

I've been having the urge to get the the top part of my left helix pierced, but I don't wanna have to deal with infections and all that crap. I have 3 piercings in my left ear(2 lobes, 1 cartilage) and 4 on my right(3 lobes, 1 lower cartilage), and for some reason I'm still craving for some piercing pain. The thing is, I don't know whether this time I should go to a piercing studio, because all my piercings were done at the mall with piercing guns. My left ear is such a bitch compared to my right, and it swells and gets infected easily. Of course I know that technically speaking, the needles used in a studio are less painful & much safer than the guns used in the malls, but at the mall it takes only 5-10 minutes to get a piercing done, and most of the time is spent in choosing the jewelry. I think my left cartilage piercing needs a companion, and 1 more right above it should be fine.

Yes, maybe I'm just trying to keep myself busy so I won't go crazy from over-thinking, if there is such a god-damned thing. Life can be a bitch(a bigger once compared to my little left ear) and for some freaks(like me), physical pain helps mask the emotional pain for a while. And putting hard things through holes every now and then isn't such a bad thing. Yes, I'm talking about piercings.
